CES 2007: Pioneer shows custom tC, Solstice
Pioneer electronics rolled out two custom cars as platforms to show off their latest mobile electronics.Keith Losier and his team of plasma-torch-wielding Canadians converted an 2006 Pontiac Solstice to a neon green hardtop street racer with a 500 hp supercharged powerplant, 20s on the front, 22s on the back, and a completely reworked plush interior. And, of course, it's packed with Pioneer gadgets. A 6-disc DVD changer feeds numerous monitors, while Pioneer's Premier amps overcome the wind noise from all those body mods (and, we assume, the road noise from those 22s).
The 2005 tC was custom-built by Sixth Avenue Electronics using 19-inch wheels, and, in the tC's trunk, you'll find two 10-inch subs visible through the car's rear window connected to four PRS amps cranking out a heart-stopping 4,000 watts of power.

I love how they did ALL THAT to the Solstice and left the stock pedals...
And how they made every single gauge in it completely useless.
Did I mention it also looks hideous?

Usually, I would say something nice, or hold my tongue and say nothing at all, but I have to say this is one of the most hideous interior jobs/colour combinations to date.
Period.
Way to wreck a perfectly good Solstice.

Oh wait... maybe I spoke to soon... I made the mistake of following the link to the Ion.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that digital cluster made for classic trucks? I though it looked ugly on them... nice meteors airbrushed on the side. A show stopper for sure.

I saw the Solstice live at CES and maybe the photos didn't do it justice. With the top down, the red interior pops so much you can see it from 2 or 3 booths down. It made me want to sneak in the drivers seat and drive through the booths. Very impressive.

well that is me.. thanks for the comments. but honestly you dont like it dont loook at it :) it was built for reason and design is pretty damn good

% of the build

who is keith ?? are you kidding me !! and the cars this man has built are amazing esspecially in the time they have! i was deff. proud to model for their cars ... his cars are a piece of art might i add ,reason they always end up on magazines, and id recommend keith and his crew to anyone serious about custom work.
