Earlier this evening at the GM Style event held in a big tent next to their Renaissance Center headquarters, the automaker publicly unveiled the new Camaro Convertible concept. It's basically a metallic orange open top version of the coupe they showed last year. We posted a mega-gallery of official shots a few days ago, and more details will be coming tomorrow from the show. Until then you can enjoy the new gallery of live shots.

America has always had the nicest looking cars. And that time of unreliability...say from 70s to early 90s is well behind us.

Is this going to be the 5th generation or the retro generation?

Hmm, scratch that. Apparently the color is called Hugger Orange, but whatever. :)

The colours are the same but the Challenger Looks so much better then this thing. Of the three ponies Challenger would be the best to go for and best looking in Black, Blue or Silver.

Info that may not be out. First this is due the 1st quarter of '09. It is being built in Canada at the Oshawa plant where they make the Impala (and I believe the Malibu). Additionally these are not supposed to be getting any V6's period. All of them will be getting V8's. The base price is supposed to run from $20,000 to 30,000...not bad, and I hope this squashes the hell out of that roach the butt'stang.
