Camaro convertible concept revealed! Well, sorta.
When the Camaro concept debuted just shy of a year ago, the idea that it would span another variant, sans-roof, was a foregone conclusion. Over the past few months, we've heard the hype and have seen some renderings, but our friends over at the digital rag, Winding Road, have published pictures that could save you a trip to Detroit.The 'vert is pretty much what's been expected, although no shots of the roof deployed are shown, since the concept doesn't have a functional top. Aside from the obligatory humongous wheels, the only differences between the hard top and the drop top are some chrome trim around the windshield and a paint scheme that is different than the one about to bow next month.

Love the new Camaro. I still would rather have a vette, but I would take this over a mustang or GTO any day. It will be a phenominal success.

I hope they come out with an SS version with the LS7 motor, now that would be awesome. Definitely better then Ford's GT500.

*drool* I think the roofline of the Camaro concept will translate very well to a 'vert (unlike the last generation of Camaro).
LS7 SS Camaro convertible with a 6-speed stick? The dealers are going to be reaming people on this one...

The new camaros look great! I prefere the hardtop to the convertible but two thumbs up for Chevrolet on this one!

The new Camaro kicks ass! Sure beats the hell out of the new Mustang GTO and Charger! I prefere the hardtop over the convertible but none the less two thumbs up for chevrolet on this one!

this is one awesome machine. I only have one problem with it. I read it will be made in australia. Shame on you GM. an icon like the Camaro and you are making it on foreign soil. Well then let the Aussies buy it. I will buy American made IN THIS COUNTRY.. the good ole USA.
