Starting today, you can worry about gift-wrapping one less item on your Holiday gift list. At least if you happen to live in the United Kingdom. EBay Motors UK is now offering a gift-wrap service on cars sold through the online auction site. Actually, the service is available on cars, bikes, and even boats, starting around £400. Although many manufacturers advertise cars as gifts for the holidays, showing vehicles adorned with oversized bows lining streets and driveways for delighted loved ones to discover, this is a full bumper-to-bumper wrap PLUS the big ribbon and bow.

For those interested, log onto eBayMotors.co.uk and click on the 'Gift Wrapped Cars' link. EBay Motors UK says it started the service after getting a request from a young banker who bought a special car for a special someone on the site. He inquired about having the Ferrari he bought for his girlfriend gift wrapped for Christmas. Might be an opportune time to pop the question, as well. If she hasn't said yes yet, we know a few people who will gladly take her place.

If you happen to like the idea of a gift-wrapped car but have more time and talent than quid, you can buy your own car wrapping kit from the site for around £119 and up. The kit comes with "full instructions, festive ribbon and 150 metres of wrapping paper." Car not included. Assembly required. Acceptance of proposal not guaranteed.
