When Dan caught wind that this week's RR of the Day would highlight five blown whips, he jumped at the chance to take the reigns. The vehicles chosen speak directly to the fact that our readers have some of the most eclectic automotive tastes this side of the 'net, even if they all have a common thread: forced induction.

Your choices this week consist of an '86 'Stang SVO whose understated demeanor has certainly shamed other hi-po machines, the absolutely epic supercharged Volvo 1800E that provides power to match its svelte shape, a 1990 VW Corrado G60 that confirmed our love for the hatch, a '95 Buick Riviera whose owner is obviously smitten with his ride and last, but certainly not least, the 1965 Corvair Corsa turbo convertible, whose picture confirms the idiom of being worth a thousand words.

Your voice can be heard below and, if you haven't already, submit your ride to our Flickr pool by following the directions after the jump.

How to submit to RR of the Day:
Create a
Flickr account if you don't already have one. Search for and join the group called 'Autoblog RR of the Day'. Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!

This was a lop-sided in such on obvious way. The Volvo was the most interesting car by far, but the Corvair was a pleasant surprise.

There must be a VW club linked to the poll because there is NO WAY that Corrado is anywhere near as cool as the Corvair or the 1800. (Right now the Corrado is behind the Corvair 3% and the Volvo 5%.)

"Just out of curiosity: How is it that not one Supra, RX-7, or late model Nissan/Datsun Z made the list? (not to mention the lack of an oil burner...)"

It just turned out that way - and there was JUST an RX-7 picked last week for RROTD. There are far too many great and interesting cars to fit them all into a single week.

      Hi
As a collector of SVO Mustangs and the owner of THE MAC TOOLS SVO (scca race car) I love seeing expousure for this great marque!
They are great cars to drive, collect and race at any level of road racing!
With numbers similar to production for Boss 302's, SHelbys and other allready collectable cars the SVO is a sure bet!

Almost voted for the Corrado (owned two as well as a few G60 Rabbits) but had to vote for the Volvo. I've wanted an 1800 ever since I first saw one (as a kid), absolutely beautiful cars!
