VIDEO: The sights and sounds of Group B
I'm guessing that I had you at "Group B."
Click on the video above and take the time machine back to the days of Group B, where the rally cars were audacious and overpowered, the drivers heroic, and the action unrivaled and dangerous. All you hear are the cars and the crowds, and as car-related videos go, this is about as close to porn as it gets.

Awesome clip, can never get enough old rally footage. The crowds where as fearless as the drivers back then, and as reckless most of the time.

Most of those cars in that video are still legends today...just goes to show you how amazing they were. Sadly, I don't think I saw a Lancia Stratos. And I figure that seeing the Porsche 959 that they outfitted for rallying would be asking too much :)

The awesome Lancia Stratos was not a group B car, Lancia's group B racer was the Lancia 037 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_037)
& then the Delta S4
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Delta_S4).
Here is more info on Group B, which was cancelled as a FIA class in 1986.
