(actually, I think it was two generations back) when they were retired from the NYS Police a few years back. It was the pursuit capable version I was looking at. Usually at the top of the list is a HD front push bar. It gets 6-7 mpg on a regular basis.  I would expect that this Tahoe would get be just as bad or worse on gas usage.  But so what?
