Car and Driver actually claimed to like the setup of this car more than the GT500, so the white, non rental car version of it might be the way to go.

With regard to the GT-H version, to paraphrase toolz, "you can't turn a ho into a housewife." - I usually like autoblog and reading all the latest news and such. But, this seriously is the stupidest thing i've read, to date. I'm a car dealer down here in Arizona and just chuckled when I read that. Manheim dealer auctions are clearly that, dealer auctions. With a set of nationwide rules and such where it is NEVER open to the public and is strictly to dealers. No dealership out there has the "say" on letting the public in, and why would they? If your were to petetion anyone, it would be Manheim Auctions. And even then they wouldnt break any rules and such by allowing any general public into them.. Get your shit together and facts straight before typing a statement. Seems like a twelve year old took the keyboard and finished up the article for you.

Although the wording could go either way, I think what he meant was to call your local ford dealer and express your interest in a gt-h, thus prompting them to attend the auction in person or on-line and secure a gt-h for them.

Thanks autoblog for the heads up.
