RR of the Week: 80's Edition results

At 12:01 AM EST we closed the polls on the 80's edition of RR of the Week. Unfortunately, we didn't get a screen grab of the results, but what we can tell you is that over 2,300 votes were cast and the winner was the 1987 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible.

Until about Sunday afternoon, there was a strong showing of voters enthralled with the Alfa's curves, but as the day drew to a close, Saab owners united and put the 900 in the top spot. The results, right before deleting the poll in a Nyquil induced haze, put the Saab in first, the Alfa in second, the Bimmer in third, the Fiero in fourth and the Supra bringing up the rear in fifth.

This week, we won't be having a theme for our RR of the Day, but next week it's all about forced-induction. That's right, next week is turbo- and super-charger week. If you've got a blown engine, submit three photos and TONS of detail to our Flickr group, by following the instructions after the jump.

How to submit to RR of the Day:
Create a
Flickr account if you don't already have one. Search for and join the group called 'Autoblog RR of the Day'. Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!
