VIDEO: Audi TT in Japan
Although Japan has a wealth of quality automakers with unsurpassed engineering of their own, German cars seem to enjoy a cult status and special desirability in the Land of the Rising Sun. So it should come as little surprise that when Audi launched the new TT for the Japanese market back in September, it was accompanied by considerable fanfare and celebrated in style.
This video, at over seven minutes long, is a compilation of a few Japanese commercials for the Audi and a stylish cinematography of the launch event. The video is complete with Japanese characters indiscernible to those who don't read Japanese (just ask any tattoo artist) and interviews with people we don't know, in a language we can't understand. But whatever it is they're saying, we agree.

Audi has real potential to take on Porsche and BMW. But the old TT was lousy. I haven't driven the new TT, but I hope its ride matches its looks.
