.. GOOD!___ A NEEDED ADDITION TO THE LINEUP. ONLY A DECADE OR TWO AFTER THEY FALTERED WITH THE EXTENDED LENGTH LITTLE BOXY FLEETWOOD, THEY FINALLY TRY AGAIN. AS LONG AS WE ARE ON A ROLL, HOW ABOUT THE NEXT ONE NOT LOOKING LIKE A GENERIC TAXI WITH A VERY NICE GRILLE? PERHAPS MORE LIKE A CADILLAC, DARE I ASK?
(MY R-RATED COMMENT WOULD BE THAT, IN READING THAT THIS CAR ADDS 8 INCHES, I REMEMBER WHEN A GUY BOUGHT CADILLACS IN ORDER TO LOOK AS IF HE HAD 8 HIMSELF.....) ESCALADE BROUGHT THEM BACK SOME OF THAT.
IT IS GETTING THROUGH TO GM THAT THE AMERICAN COMPETITOR TO A GERMAN CAR IS NATURALLY LONGER, WIDER, SHOWIER. THEY NEED THE LIVERY BUSINESS AT CADILLAC, AND THEY NEED SOME MORE CARS WHICH WILL ATTRACT THE UNDER 40s -- MOST BABY BOOMERS WATCHED THE BRAND BEING DESTROYED, AND WILL NOT BE BACK.
