You've seen a multitude of crashes while visiting our humble site, but this one is different. The sinking feeling in your stomach will be multiplied ten fold-over the course of the minute and a half it takes to watch this clip. Afterwards, if you're like us, you may want to have a stiff drink and try to forget about what you've just seen. We're trying to right now.

(BTW - As dreadful as this clip is, there are rumors circulating that it may be a fake. We're not convinced, but a few things seem odd, which we'll let you speculate on in the comments.)

      Fake as hell.

If you had footage of the wreck, why not show it.

Car did not look damaged at the end.

This looks as fake as the Blair Witch project, probably just another viral video advertisement made by Ford.

Not sure on the authenticity of the video, but that's not an authentic GT500

EPA sticker on the car reads 17/25. EPA's website says the GT500 is rated at 15/21, with the plain GT at 17/25

I scrolled the playhead to 0:58 and I just don't see a Mustang or a mustang sized hole. I see two small dark areas that look more like a door and some garage cabinets. And they are more towards the middle of the garage, not the far left as the closing shot suggests. Plus, no brake lights and nothing painted red and white visible in the garage. And that fuzzy, drop-the-camera moment makes a lot of sense as a cut point in a video edit. However that could all be explained by the pressense of a third garage stall that doesn't show up in the footage.

But even more impossible to find than a Mustang in an empty garage is a reason for Ford to have anything to do with this. I thought about insurance fraud or a good YouTube prank. As much as it looks fake no one would gain more than they lost by faking it.

Did the fourteen-year-old have his ass beaten?

I don't know whether that's a real GT500 or some "Eleanor" conversion (shouldn't it be silver?), or if the complaints are from Web kids with no lives, but the crash looked bad, anyway.

whut was filmed was real, was it done on diliberatly? i dont know, but the one thing that i think makes this look FAKE is that he starts the car, thats fine, but when he releases the clutch the car just takes off... come on has no one else noticed that you have to push the gas to make the car go, as well as prevent it from stalling if you even were to release the clutch while it is in gear.... i say its planned also because you dont actually see the faces of anyone near the car, like if i had a brandnew GT500 and my friends were filiming it im sure they would have my face and there faces on the film to show how excited we were to have it....

no matter whut car it was that went through the wall its a waste of money. now if it was a honda it would not have made it through the wall

I'm all for the NHTSA mandating that manuals be banned. They are obviously flawed and dangerous.

Also, when I was 14, I was driving a stick on the open road, and I did know all about neutral, foot in the clutch, crank the engine startup mode.

I guess there's something to be said for kids education.

And yes, it's obviously fake, who do I know? there's not enough curse words :) (just kidding, fake or not, I almost peed my pants watching it)

      Love the last 4 secs:

      - Did you get it all on tape?
      - Shut up!

Holy fu.. crap dude. Now make the boy work to pay for all, ehehehhe.

I didn't know the GT500 Eleonor '07 was already out, the only one I saw was the one Foose did.

That folks, is what happens when idiot internet morons actually get to DRIVE a car with hp, instead of ragging on it and calling it junk

This is the owner fault for buying the wrong car. 50k for a cheep interior, crappy handling, and a chasi made from tractors.. and as Petey said before they didn't even bother to paint the outside mirrors.
