Happy Retirement! Taurus worker wins $225k on last day
Yesterday, while driving to his last day of work at Ford's Hapeville, GA assembly plant where the final Taurus would be built later that afternoon, John McInnis stopped off to fill his tank. He also bought a scratch-off lottery ticket for the hell of it, but when he rubbed off the silver Mr. McInnis won the best retirement gift ever: $225,000 cash money. Being the loyal worker he is, McInnis made it to work and performed his part in building the last Ford Taurus ever to be produced. That's one dedicated Ford employee. Whoops, sorry. Ex-Ford employee.[Source: ajc.com]

That is really cool.. those workers deserve it. Not that Ford actually took care of them nor cared. At least God upstairs cared enough to help one guy out :)

#2: Yea, like God really cares... or chooses favorites. Do you really think that God had anything to do with a man winning a lottery ticket? You religious people kill me. You call gambling sinful, but then throw god in it when something happens. If this man is set up for retirement, I'm sure that god could have "blessed" someone a little more needy than himself.
Why don't we just call it good luck and call it a day?

Jeez Nastinupe...it was just a figure of speech. Settle down and stop hating so much.
Congrats to this guy. I'm sure it's pretty heartbreaking for people like him who worked on the Taurus line so many years.

yeah #3 you seem to have a problem with people expressing their beliefs, well TOO BAD! this is america and last time I checked I could talk freely about God. Why don't you move to china, since you have a problem with people expressing their beliefs. You'd fit in well there. Too bad you're so bitter about a man winning the lottery. Seems you're angry at your own life. and NO where did i condemn gambling, so it obvious you have issue with someone else, since you're just making up stories here of what i said and didn't say..
To #4 thanks.. yeah i mean the guy was blessed with it, not that Ford actually was really helping those people by cutting their jobs, why not produce something else with those people..
