POLL Results: RR of the Week

Despite a lopsided fight of four Subarus against one lonely Mitsubishi EVO in our latest RR of the Week poll, the lone EVO proved to be the better car, at least by our voters' standards. It could also be the case that Mitsubishi fans united in support the single EVO, whereas WRX faithful were split between their choices. We'll never know! Regardless, the race was extremely tight with the track tuned EVO attracting 576 votes (30%). The second place finisher in this race, the WRX Wagon, nearly caught the EVO but came up 32 votes short with a total of 544 votes (29%). My favorite, the blacked out Darth Subie, showed up to play with a respectable 360 votes (19%), while the old-school Impreza 2.5 RS was trailing the all-wheel drive Sith transport vehicle by 49 votes with 311 (16%). Last, and certainly not least (unless you go by votes), was the STi-ified bug-eyed WRX with 102 votes (5%).

This week we're going to choose a Camaro each day for the RR of the Day feature, and we need everyone who owns a Camaro to submit his or her ride. We want to make sure all five days are filled with interesting F-bodies, and to do that we need a great group of them from which to choose. Just follow the jump to find instructions on how to submit your ride.
How to submit to RR of the Day:
Create a Flickr account if you don't already have one. Search for and join the group called 'Autoblog RR of the Day'. Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!

Good stuff. This is usually how the battle ends on the track as well. The Evo out ahead with a few STi's just a little bit behind. ;) (i just put on my flame-suit)
Let the rant begin!!!

You basically explained the skewed results yourself and then dismiss it as "We'll never know!!111 :)"
Are you joking? Most biased poll I've ever seen. If only one EVO was submitted, why carry on with the EVO vs Subaru theme if theres 4 times as many of one than the other?Brilliant job AutoBlog. Im by no means an EVO nor Subie fanboy but I know BS when I see it.

Each Subie submitted all came with something different, but none with videos to back up the numbers provided as the EVO did. Maybe other EVOs were submitted, but all followed the same theme with less to offer. The EVO was the most impressively presented, therefore the victor. He earned my vote.
I drive a Subie. So much for being biased.

To #2 - I'm a hard core Mitsu fan, but I voted for the 2.5 RS since it was the most interesting to me. So yeah, "We'll never know!".
They were all nice cars though, kudos to the owners!

I'm not surprised with the results. There only one Evo in the pack, so it was going to stand out. The hatch is the preferred body style, so that wasn't a surprise, either. Seeing as this was supposed to be a Subie vs. Mitsu special, it was disappointing to see only one Mitsu in the bunch.

lol well being a lancer owner i had to vote for the evo, but it was a suprisingly tough choice between that and the " Darth Subie"

It's the same reason multiple democrats don't run in the presidential election, you'd be splitting the votes. I really would have liked to see the wagon win, that's a gorgeous car :)

We should also have a monthly poll for our favorite RR of the month's top RR choices.
They were all nice rides, I had difficulty picking one. More! :)
