São Paulo produces another CUV concept: the Ford Fiesta Trail

From Autoblog Spanish we have info about a gussied up Fiesta Trail that Ford is showing at the Brazilian auto show in São Paulo. Looks like Fiat and Chevy had extreme CUVs on display so Ford had to have one, too. It slapped on some Outback-like cladding and jacked up the regular Fiesta Trail, slipping some aggressive alloys under the fenders.
A new, more muscular front end with new lights and grille, side sills and new exclusive rear lights complete the look. Developed by Ford's Center of Design in Camaçari, Brazil, it uses a raised suspension to help accomodate those oversized alloy rims. If reaction to the prototype is favorable, it could reach the market, although with slight changes.

This is what the Escape should have been.

...or, Ford recreates the Suzuki SX4.

Again, STUPID Ford. This should be available here for sale in the states. That is a design that would go over well here and is "in." FORD HAS NO CLUE, just like GM. Run by old blood and old money, not educated car people who know the latest, hottest styles. I hope Ford gets what they deserve for being so stupid.

Actually is São Paulo.
Very good looking, but I doubt this car will find a place on Ford's Lineup anytime soon.

Wow, it looks like Ford jacked up the suspension on a Toyota Matrix and replaced the T with a blue oval...

Sorry....don't know how to put the ~ over the a.
Nice car...seems like a car people in the US would actually buy.

It's kinda cute in a girly sort of way. A nice graduation gift for over-privileged and under-stressed teenagers.

City of São Paulo - Portuguese > Brazilian official language.
Attractive Concept with nice looking, but not for Mud, just for light trail.
In fact, an urban car, very economic.
Actually available in two "RoCam" engine options:
1.0L Flex(ible)12,8:1 comp. ratio
73cv w/ alcohol and 71cv w/ gasoline
1.6L Flex(ible)12,3:1 comp. ratio
111cv w/ alcohol and 105cv w/ gasoline

Looks an awful like the SX4. I mean, everything but the blue oval. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

jp.......I love that: Aztacky.
I guess I'll have to go to Ford's website and see what a production Fiesta Trail looks like. Actually, I've considered once or twice buying a Focus wagon and "cutomizing" it to look like a mini-SUV or Vibe-fighter. I don't think I would've gone with the charcoal plastic cladding used on the Trail, though.
Imagine this (slightly?) more aggressive front styling on a Focus.

Guys, have in mind that this car probably will never hit the streets here in Brazil. And about the Brazilian Fiesta, nevermind, you wouldn't want to own one, trust me.

Over all not bad. I don't like plastic cladding. Paint it the same color as the car and it would be cool.

I think they bought a Vibe and put a Ford oval on it.
