Fiat Brazil showing FCC Adventure concept in Sao Paulo
Fiat's Brazilian division, Fiat Automoveis, has prepped this concept car for the Sao Paulo Auto Show. The Fiat Concept Coupe (FCC) Adventure is a crossover, off-road coupe, that combines rugged styling with a swept-back, insanely raked windshield for a sportscar-on-'roids look.
The FCC Adventure concept uses the 167-hp 2.4-liter five-cylinder engine from the Fiat Stilo Abarth. It rides on 18-inch rims clad in Pirelli PZeros with a four-wheel independent suspension and adjustable shocks. The unique paintjob uses a color-changing paint that ranges from yellow to red, while inside the cabin the FCC gets equipped with competition-themed five-point racing harnesses.
Although the concept looks ready to storm the dunes, it's strictly front-wheel-drive and rides on road tires. Interesting design, but even in concept form it still lacks the theoretical go for all that show.
More pics after the jump.
(Thanks for the tip, Bruno!)

Seriously tho... these monster car concepts have been shown for a long time by various car companies with no one really making one. They should build this and sell it as the ultimate urban vehicle. The best thing I love about my litte SUV in the city is the large tires that make navigating potholed streets, curbs ans speedbumps and breeze. A city car with these attributes would be great!

as far as monster cars goes, the Nissan Murano and sister Infiniti come to mind.

#6... Big SUV as a way not to slow down when coming along speedbumps... hadn't thought of that one.... kinda kills the whole point of having speedbumps in the first place... ;)

Looks like a modified Murano or the other Nissan CUV, Q something. Not very original!

Very nice looking auto (looks proportionally too big though. Must see one in person to make a better judgment). Much beauty about it... if you look past the brutish and stealth-like angularity.
