Project Kahn Phantom: for when the "standard" Rolls-Royce just won't do
British tuning house Project Kahn seem to have a knack for messing with perfection like few others kahn. They'll take your Ferrari, Bentley, Range Rover, Aston Martin or other bespoke wheels and take it a step further.
Kahn's latest project starts with the already elite Rolls Royce Phantom and raises the stakes while dropping the height with an electronically-adjustable suspension, monster 22-inch rims, tinted glass, and full Nappa leather interior. And – the cherry atop the sundae – a carbon fiber umbrella stashed in the door.
It's simply the only thing to do when the fellow at the mansion down the street buys a Phantom just like yours and you simply must show him up.

Im shocked at why the Bently has been selling so well when its a facelifted Volkswagen Phaeton while the RR Phanthom has not. Rolls sold 560 last year while Bently sold 2400. Unbelievable.

The Maybach is better than the Bentley as well but the Maybach has been a dissapointment for Mercedes.

The Maybach has bombed because Mercedes was stupid. A Maybach 57 sells for 350,000 dollars and has 510hp.
A Mercedes S65 is almost as luxurious and has 604hp and 738 torque and sells for 175,000 dollars. Half the price. Thats why.

How about because the Rolls is an ugly barge that's overpriced, while the Bentley is judged much prettier and is cheaper. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of what the VW Bentleys look like (I like the Arnage), but they look better than the Rolls, that's for sure.

Those wheels are about as declasse as the BMW 6's rims. Leave it to tuners to screw up a good thing.

PRICE. that's it... there are a lot more customers in the world who can afford roughly 150k than those who can afford roughly 350k.

Rolls has a presence, but is ugly. And I think it's a lot longer, too, making it much harder to drive around. It's probably due purely to aesthetics.
As for Maybach, that's because it looks almost exactly like a regular Mercedes.

Over many, many years Rolls Royce seems to have evolved from one beautifully elegant , smooth flowing designed sedan to one god awful ugly work of art.
I'm sure the interior, drive train and rest of vehicle is state of the art; comfort second to none.
But surely RR can find a designer that can match the quality of design of other true premium luxury sedans. No way would I turn one down but personally could never be able to purchase one.

Somebody forgot that cars are PRODUCTS for a MARKET. The old Rolls market died-- except the part about having the most conspicuous status symbol. The present Phantom points brilliantly to that market, whether you like the car or not.__ Sorry, I give the "SO WHAT! AWARD" for September to the person who posted that the gorgeous Bentley is a "facelifted" Phaeton. You are upset by criteria no consumer for the car cares about. __I am next to Beverly Hills. The average age of the Rolls and Bentley drivers I see is decades less than the Cadillac drivers, so they have longevity now, where they were both for old farts 5 years ago. By the way, the Mayback (of which I have seen about 4, to 3 dozen Phantoms, is not just similar to a Mercedes, but actually looks just like Queen Juliana of Holland (Isn't she dead?)

Typical Ignorant Opinions
Flying Spur is a Cheap Alternative to the Arnage so will sell more units than Arnage & Phantom
Rolls Phantom is supposed to be EXCLUSIVE so would be Silly if they sold 4000 units a year (Don't you think)
Rolls have decided to produce a Cheaper Model than the Phantom which should sell in higher numbers. (Good Idea IMO)
