Beautiful car! From someone who owns one, a 72 Targa.
#8
Thescond car from your link, needs some tender loving care, just becuse it's got a lower price does not tell the whole story. It's a very rough starting point. Did you read the ad?
Just a couple of things from the ad:
THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS 6809, WHICH WAS LATER CHANGED TO RED
THE INTERIOR IS IN PRETTY DECENT SHAPE (pretty rough actually)
THERE IS RUST ON LOWER BODY, FENDERS AND DOORS AS TO BE EXPECTED ON AN UNRESTORED 37 YEAR OLD CAR
THIS IS THE RIGHT CAR FOR RESTORATION
Do you have any idea of what rust removal will cost on this car? Lower body means rockers, if that much rust is on it we are talking possible structural rust as well. Then to bring it back, an interior and complete paint. The paint and body work alone done correctly will cost more than the car.
Car #1 a Minnesota car? If you look carefully at the rt fender you can see the rust stain.
Neither of these two cars comes anywhere near the beauty shown here. this car is well worth the price.
It's not Bill Maher who is an Idiot.
Some beautiful machine shop work there. Beautiful job Charles!!
