Video: Peugeot 908 RC concept
Later this week at Paris, Peugeot will be officially unveiling the menacing-yet-elegant 908 RC concept car, details and photos of which we brought you last month.
Now, ahead of the show, Peugeot has released two videos of its precious new 700-hp diesel V12 show-car in motion. The first video has the car on some sort of rooftop wind-tunnel, while the second features footage of the 908 RC moving smoothly down the highway before switching about two-thirds way through to pans of the futuristic interior.
Both videos feature some impressive cinematographic splicing, with smooth transitions between clips of the car in motion to standing still. Enjoy!

Very theatrical.Just add tailfins and you have the next Batmobile.

The question: What happens if you combine a Diablo, a Lexus GS, a Subaru Tribeca, and a lack of purpose?
It could grow on me, but is that really the goal?

I can see this being the next Infinity Q45 - and man this would bring somestyling to the Q45, the ugliest exterior of any infiniti
of course the real car could use an Infiniti frontend and everythign else is perfect. It would make the CLS loose allit's style
please mr. Ghosen bring this here in the US

numba 4... This is a Peugeot, not a Renault. I know, both french, both kinda sound the same, but while one is married to Nissan, the other is married to Citroën, the other french one, so i'm afraid Carlos doesn't have a say as to whether or not this car will be produced, let alone whether it'll come to NA. Number 2, rather than following that obnoxious trend of throwing out a dozen car names which share some aspect of the design and therefore must have had an orgy to create this "unoriginal" car that's just a blend of its multiple parents.... could you please point out to me where you see the B9 in this concept?
I think the car is awesome, has a real sense of speed at a standstill, let alone while its cruising along. The interior didn't catch my attention too much though. I think that overall, French cars have some awesome style. The Citroën C4 of transformer commercial fame is another of my favourites, as is the Renault Mégane.

Very nice, They should build it but make it shorter.

That's one of the best looking cars I've ever seen. I couldn't imagine owning a French car, but Peugeot really has some incredible designs.

700 Hp Diesel? Wow! I am usualy not impressed with luxury cars but for some reason I find this one very appealing. Maybe because it is different. The video is very good. Peugeot may not sell a lot but will sell all of them when the time comes.

by the headlights alone, I'd say this is Catwoman's car.

The car is awesome, as well as beautiful. As to the 5 point turn, 4 wheel steer can do amazing things for a turning circle.

Looks overly elongated. Love the mean/evil looking headlights!

Yes I relze this is Pugeot, but I am sure Mr Ghosen can call them up adn offer. The GM talks are not looking very promising, so he can focus his attention to this car now as the alternativ to building the Q45 from the smae G35 chasis (enlarged of course).
Pugeot can not afford to build this for Europe and they have no chance of coing to the US, but Infiniti is already here and they can sell this car here so it would be cost sharing between them adn Infiniti will have a car to rival the best of the extralarg bhan mobiles.
