Wilson - a while back, there was a documentary on SPEED that covered the design, development and manufacturing of the 6-series from start to finish. At the onset, they mentioned that the inspiration for the six was to make a luxury GT on par with their flagship sedan. That description was from Mr. Bangle himself.
