Ford teams up with Rosie and The View for Warriors in Pink
Now that Rosie O'Donnell is joining the illustrious cast of The View, the increased star power will no doubt help Ford Motor Company raise the awareness of Warriors in Pink, which the automaker will promote in cooperation with the show. The fundraiser benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which has received over $87 million from Ford over the past 12 years, according to the automaker.
The View will direct viewers to www.fordcares.com, where they can purchase Warriors in Pink merchandise to benefit the charity. Also on the site are opportunities to share survivor stories, enter a sweepstakes, learn more about breast cancer initiatives, and contribute to the site's virtual quilt.
Bottom line? Almost everybody has known someone affected by breast cancer, whether it be a mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, daughter or friend -- you don't have to be a woman to support the cause. We certainly give the folks at Ford kudos for throwing the company's weight behind it.

That's another stupid move on Fords part. Rosie, just today, equated religious christians as dangerous as the islamo fascists. Another reason to boycott Ford.

Maybe that Fat Pig Rosie should come up with a ribbon to support a cure to save Ford?

I hope she makes more money for the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation than anybody dreamed possible. But her militant antichristian rants are more fascist and the villification of good american citizens are more akin to Hitlers call to rise up against the jews.As someone who's left the "Gay" lifestyle with the ministry and compassion of spirit filled christians I find her platform on "The View" chilling

Brest cancer is some scary stuff, and 87 million towards the cause is something we should all be grateful for, 87 million over the course of time is a true blessing.

I think a little bit of perspective is in order. I think she might be referring to the "God hates Fags" type of Christians, which is not very Christian, they just use the term "Christian" in the name of their cause.
Then you have the peaceful Christian that wants the best for IT'S members and anyone else is welcome to come join.
If she was referring to "both" sets of "Christians" then yes, I could see where that comment is quite arrogant.

PROVE IT. ex-gay is a fundie myth. They all keep showing back up at the gay bars. Are you sure you're not just bisexual because there's no way you could pay me to do a woman.. well, unless we're talking lottery cash ;-)

-Uhhhh, Women... Never have, never will. The thought gives me the chills too actually. BUT Women are great though.
As for Jon, heck so long as he is happy (hopefully) and at peace with his life then good for him, that's what we are all looking for anyway. I know I am also, I just hope one day my partner and I can legally be together *somehow*, we have a California domestic partnership, but when we moved to Las Vegas that certificate is not worth the paper it is printed on.
I was watching this show on Holland the other day and SIX years ago 85% of their population agreed with gay marriage, and the only logical thing I can think of is eventually moving out of the United States of America.
I'm a dual citizen of the USA and Ireland right now, my partner kids and I have been looking into relocating our kids, business and basically life's into Canada, Vancouver BC (Such a pretty piece of this earth). Due to the fact that we cannot get married (or call it something different, just have the same rights) in the USA, we found out we are considered "refugees" from a foreign country that are denied civil rights.
I love this country and would die for it in a heartbeat (USA) and the millions of people in it, but I think we could truly be at peace and happy somewhere else, plus I'm sure that would make others happy as well.

Two quick facts:
1) Prostate cancer hits men as hard as breast cancer hit women.
2) Rosie O'Donnell is a asshole.
Interesting link on politicizing diseases.
"The United States invests approximately $16,700 to find a cure for each life lost to prostate cancer; more than $21,800 for each life lost to breast cancer, and about $160,000 for each life lost to AIDS."

"2) Rosie O'Donnell is a asshole."
-LMAO, as much as Rosie is Rosie it's always funny hearing women being called an asshole, I can't explain it but it cracks me up.
-My sister was babysitting one of her friends kids and I was on the phone with her, she turns around and tells me, this kid is such an asshole. I said, how old? She said, 6 months! Of course she was being sarcastic, but I can't help but laugh!

Another brilliant move on the part of Ford...NOT. An alliance with Rosie is enough to make anyone with an iota of brains support another manufacturer.
I think Ford made another wrong turn on their "Way Forward".

Just another reason not to watch the view and buy Ford. I don't care on ounce what comes out of that fat, over-rated lesbo! She is a radical and needs not to be hired to anything. Comparing radical christians with islamofacists, that is in no way comprible. Radical Christians do not murder innocent civilians to spread their message. The only thing a radical christian might do is speak his mind over what he feels is true, no matter how bizarre it may sound. The two are completely different. What is she going to say next? The American Government devised 9-11 or how about Americans help kill jews in the holocaust. Or maybe she will go to the extent of saying that the holocaust never existed. What is the world coming to?

Ford and Rosie-O'Dumbell? Sorry Ford, you just lost me as a customer. Two new Lincolns in a row - and now I need a new manufacturer (maybe GM wants me)... You might just as well latch an anchor to your leg and jump overboard as hook yourself to a controversial disgusting idiot like Rosie-O'Dumbell.

The thought of doing Rosie is enough to make any man turn gay.
All politics aside, I applaud Rosie and Ford for increasing awareness of breast cancer and raising money. My 22 year old cousin lost her fight with cancer last week and was buried on Saturday. Cancer research has made alot of progress in the last 10 years and someday we're going to beat this thing because of the efforts of the good folks at Ford.
Although my cousin lost her fight, there are now many more that survive than ever. My prayers go out to those that are fighting right now.

WTF??? I consider myself a Ford guy, but this is REDICULOUS! Think about this though: With all of the white collar job cuts Ford has made, all of that talent that has left the company, who is left with any experience that is making decisions like this? It's people who shouldn't be in the position to MAKE decisions like this! Some carpet muncher, man hater just got out of college, that's who.

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is a financial supporter of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country. Abortion has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer. Ford, the View, Planned Parenthood and Komen are strange bedfellows.
