Casino Royale trailer shows off Bond's Aston
A new trailer for the upcoming James Bond flick Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig gives us a few quick glimpses of the Aston Martin DBRS 9 that 007 will be driving in the film. While footage of the unique DBRS 9 in the trailer is limited to about 2 or 3 seconds, we're sure the car will see much more screen time in the actual film. After the film fades from the big screen, however, a few lucky owners will still be able to open their garage doors and take the production version of Bond's DBRS 9 for a spin. That car is reported to have an uprated 500-hp V12, race-car inspired lowered suspension and wider track. Until then, check out the trailer and try not to cringe when Craig rolls the car.

"Somehafobeech. 'Gotta see this one. However, as a former driver, I find it hard to see how the multi-roll started. Given the circumstances and the cars capability, this simply does not happen. Yea, I know, it's the movies.

ok...am I the only person who is somewhat excited to see this film? While I wish Brosnan was in this movie, I am really interested in seeing how Craig pulls this off. I personally think hes a good actor.
But yea, I dont want to watch him roll the Aston. Thats a crime against humanity!

I am excited in seeing Craig as Bond as well.
If you questions the man's ability to act, watch Layer Cake. Awesome movie..

simple. the girl was laying just over the crest of a hill, he swerved at the apex going too fast (as in he was going to be getting air like shown on the hill before). air gets under the car going sideways. VOILA! flipping car.
and what do you mean "former driver"? you can't drive anymore?

An Aston Martin should not be crashed for such an unattractive woman.
And so we now know that Casino Royale is a film about a poker game, a film that incorporates a fad. Sounds lame...

you can add me to the list of people who are excited to see this movie. very excited. i happened to see layer cake just before they announced who the next bond would be - and i think they made the perfect choice. hope we see more 007 with craig in it (if this one's good of course).

Daniel Craig doesn't have the looks of a sterotype "good guy"... I couldn't tell who was the good guy in the trailer, they both look just as evil as each other!
As for the car flipping, probably wouldn't happen. We saw that video of the green Aston Martin racing earlier, and it flew sideways for a long distance off the track, with no flipping.

Poker game is not a fad. humans have played poker since the beginning of time, and will until the end of time. You must have lost too many poker games, and have supressed your own memory of it.

Pierce Brosnan was hot, and had a classy attitude.
Daniel Craig is not. Craig is just a tough, battle worn guy.

Daniel Craig squats to pee. The stupid wuss complained that the car was a stick (he doesn't know how to drive a manual).

The girl or the car???
Hmmm, guess I'll take the car, cause you'll always be able to pick up the girls with the car......

You can also pick up girls with other, attractive girls. True story.
Anyways, I'm very excited for the film, but NOT excited for Daniel Craig's "short shorts" bathing suit scene. Leave that for Ursula Andress.

Daniel Craig does not look like a bond good guy, he looks like one of the evil characters.

Purecoda@post#5- Not to be derogatory , but you obviously don't know the capability of the car, the potential for this auto's handling by a professional, or, for that matter, that a "driver" is not someone who sits behind the wheel of street driven vehicles. This is not your fault, but a little insight derived from a few visits to sites dedicated to racing information might be helpfull. I am retired now, but spent many laps behind the wheel in some very fast cars. I certainly was not the best, but I did rub wheels, and on occasion beat those who are remembered to be so.

Snyder - do some research. Craig is a Brit. He grew up driving manuals. In an Esquire interview they asked about driving manuals and he laughed, offering to take them for a spin. The MEDIA made that story up. It's totally false.
BTW, Astons currently come armed with F1/DSG/SMG style trannies, not many come with standard manuals anymore.

Casino Royale was written by Ian Flemming, the creator of the 007 franchise back in 1953. It was his first novel about James Bond, and has nothing to do with the poker fad from the last couple of years.
I love the new direction of the movies (no silly rocket launchers and gadgets on the car, ect) which always seemed rather stupid to me.
Daniel Craig is pretty much a badass. Okay, maybe not in Tomb Raider, but you get the idea :)

They do not play poker. They play Baccarat. If you ever played in casinos in europe or asia, you would know that Baccarat is the game of choice, not poker

Have any of you kids ever read the Ian Fleming novels of 007?
They were published before Sean Connery did a Bond movie.
Try reading something other than Car and Driver.
