In West LA and Beverly Hills, I do see more V-6s also, but half those are rentals. I have to hit the suburbs to see even ONE coupe, though, all convertibles here.
MY major lack in the line is not 427s, but the absence of a model with better interior trim and features like automatic A/C and lights. We still have Falcon thinking guiding the trim levels.
Ford seems to have screwed up by using the Mazda plant to make the cars, as there is a major capacity issue.
By now, there ought to be a Cougar (slightly bigger, more elegant like the 67).
Something like a Nomad off the Mustang chassis would be great. Roush and Saleen vehicles are not Ford products but from independent companies. It is then the choice of each dealership to apply to be a Saleen or Roush dealer.
