VIDEO: How not to drift
Some hardcore racing fans might tell you that the best way to drift is not to do it all. The driver in this video will likely never try drifting again, but not because it's slower around a track than driving a tight line. No, he's not going to drift again because he learned the hard way that drifting inside a development with raised curbs is a recipe for broken car with a side of pissed off parents.

My only question is how does someone get that stupid without some sort of professional help?
I wish the video had audio so I could hear this idiot's first words after he did something so monumentally stupid.

that boy is about to walk to school in the rain everyday.
Or he might start skipping class, drop out of high school, get a job at a warehouse, then at a McDonald's, then a gas station, then a Walmart, catch a couple STDs, become hospitalized, then into the liquor store, and into a cardboard box.

Ah drifters, the only people who can make NASCAR fans seem like undeniable geniuses.

More important then how not to drift, is the inability to drift in that FF corolla? tercel? It surprises me so much how drivetrain means so little to so many people.

I'm not sure who's dumber, the driver for being, well, dumb; or the camera man for facing the camera down during what would have been the best part of the video!

Good one!

Here are some more pretty good "Drifting Gone Bad" Videos:

Some of those had me rolling on the floor! I love the voice over telling you how to "fix" a drift machine with duck-tape in just 30-seconds.

Ricky and Kevina,
I haven't seen F&F, so I don't know what corolla they used, but corollas were originally RWD. There are some 80s corollas that are popular for drifting because of their low weight and RWD drivetrain.
If it had any curves on the body, it was FF though. ;)

#16: At least 88 up was front-drive for corolla. The car in the pic definitely is front drive, even if it isn't a corolla (camry maybe?)..
The video was a little hard to follow, had to run it back and forth by slider to see what actually happened (rear wheel snapped off by the curb)... He's lucky he didn't sideswipe the tree.
