Chrysler launches "Ask Dr. Z" Dream Car Sweepstakes

Or new Chrysler Sebring? Or Jeep Wrangler Unlimited? Chrysler has announced the kickoff of its "Ask Dr. Z" Dream Car Sweepstakes that will run between August 15 and September 4. Entering involves visiting a Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep dealership and picking up an entry code that you then plug into the "Ask Dr. Z" website. A total of nice vehicles will be given away, three of each model.
Though many pundits have already called Chrysler's "Ask Dr. Z" campaign a failure because of the automaker's disappointing sales figures for July, Chrysler is quick to point out that traffic to its websites are up and Web leads have increased by 27 percent. Its own research reveals that 83 percent of in-market consumers find DaimlerChrysler CEO Dieter Zetsche credible and believable. A contest involving the giveaway of three Dodge Challengers seems to us a surefire way to increase the site's web traffic tenfold and drive people into dealerships, even if only to pick up an entry code.

Its kind of sad that there isn't one car in the group that I would rather drive on my day to day commute than my nothing special six year old Saab conv.
Sure the Challanger would be a hoot for a few days, but I really wouldn't want pay to feed it every day.
How about the rest of you? Would you want to drive one of these cars more than your daily driver?

-I don't know about you guys, but the whole Dr. Z campaign is so annoying and unfunny that I am now forced to switch channels when I see his goofy face on my TV (which is like every few minutes it seems). Please, enough is enough.

The only one that holds any appeal for me at all is the Challenger. I would shoot myself if I won the sebring too, but if the challenger drives as nice as it looks I'll buy one next year.

4schizle: I totally agree. I don't know where they came up with the idea for that series of commercials but it just doesn't work for me. Dr Z isn't the Gieco Gecko and never will be...LOL

Does anyone know of a code for the sebring? I called the phone number and went to my local dealership and they both said to keep trying because they were all out. :( It figures. I thought it was only one of each 3 is even BETTER!!!!!!! Have a great weekend EVERYONE! OR rest of the week rather. :-)

Have been driving chrysler products since the 80ts and have tried some of the others, we have 2 products and wouldnt swap for NY OF THE OTHERS, THEY JUST HAVN'T GOT IT. Howard
