Hot on the heels of BMW's press release detailing the unveiling of the new 2007 MINI Cooper and Cooper S came video of the car's tooling around the English countryside. You can see that the new dimensions have created a demonstrably larger MINI, yet the design flavor that made the first iteration famous is in tact. We'll see the car up close in Paris, but this footage should hold us until then.

      It's not a mini already

There seems to be a good deal of confusion as to which side of the road to drive on!

Finally they made it BIGGER. Just because the name is MINI doesn't mean the car should be. I want someone to design some wheels that I can attatch to my farking McMansion so that I can drive that martherfarker around with all my shite in it every where that I go. BIGGER IS BETTER.

Man- That re-design reeps either of confidence in the old model, or fear of exploration. It's r-e-a-l-l-y similiar. It's a great design, the current one, but some creativity might have brought more into the fold. It's as unrecognisable as a new model as the Volvo S80 is to it's former self. Boring. Let's hope the quality is up. I had a 2003 that was in the shop 10 times in 13 months. Really boring.
