Dwayne Wade is still fresh from his first NBA title with the Miami Heat and a "King of Bling" award at GM's All-Car Showdown for custom Hummer H2 SUT. Lincoln has announced, however, that the NBA All-Star will appear in a TV spot for its new Navigator. Celebrity chef Rocco DeSpirito will also appear in ads for the luxury automaker, which will be part of the new "Advancing the American Dream" campaign.

The series of ads is said to be the largest push by Lincoln in over a decade, and is intended to "speak to people achieving success on their own terms". The first spots are said to show the Lincoln product itself (the Navigator, MKZ, and MKX), while the celebs will hit the screen later when the vehicles start arriving in showrooms. Expect the D-wade ad sometime in September. Does this mean the NBA All-Star has traded in his blinged-out Hummer H2 SUT for a new Navi? What would Shaq say?

You re right anahit.A chef could attract fat short people

Big SUV's are cool if your over 6 ft. tall you need one. They shouldn't let short people buy big SUV's because that's wasting resources.Short skinny people should drive the small fuel efficient cars.Fat tall people should have to drive small cars too.Until they get skinny, then they should be allowed to drive big SUV's again.

Will the referees be helping Wade in the ads like they do on the court?

And these two guys are going to make who want to buy a UAW made car??

As someone who lives in Metro Detroit near Ford HQ and sees these things driving by frequently, I must say that although I'd (probably) never buy an SUV, I think the new Lincoln Navigator looks really nice - and also that the image in this article doesn't do it justice from seeing it in person parked at a restaurant.

That grille is bigger and has more metal than my Mazda3.

Obscene is the only word fit for that.

Not only is Dwyane Wade's first name misspelled here, so is Rocco DiSpirito's last name! Geez, I hardly ever watch TV, yet I know how to spell their names correctly!

      It's so obnoxious...I love it!!!

Has anybody else noticed that Lincoln-Mercury ads make no mention of the
Town Car or the Grand Marquis? Is Ford ashamed of the fact that these two
      lines actually were profitable?
