Despite Photoshop renderings leading us astray, we're beyond certain this is the best view yet of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class. WorldCarFans reports that the amateur shots it's hosting were taken when a pair of C-Class mules pulled over on the Autobahn because one of them had stalled. In order to investigate the engineers had to lift the front covering on one of the cars and reveal the Merc's fresh face to the entire Autobahn. Though Mercedes has never been known for stepping far outside its own signature style, in this case the C-Class benefits from cues introduced on the S-Class and some brawny lines highlighted by the deeply sculpted hood and larger headlights.
Thanks to Kirandeep for the tip!

Well I really like the way the new C-Class is looking, but I'm just not sure if Benz can make anything right now that will end my love affair with the new 330i from BMW.

I know this is pretty old. But here is a fresh computer rendering of the C-class. The artist painted over a spy shots and made it look pretty realistic.
