While ethanol makes the headlines, some investors are seeing a lot of opportunity in the quieter biodiesel boom. The RNCOS group is releasing a biodiesel market report titled Biofuel Market Worldwide (2006). The report says that with the reintroduction of diesel trucks to the U.S., declining diesel supply and pending legislation that could make biodiesel cheaper than standard diesel (it's currently about 21 to 32 cents more expensive), biodiesel is currently worth investing in. Between 2002 and 2004, U.S. biodiesel production increased from 16 to 31 million gallons. RNCOS' report also looks at the international biofuel market and is available for $1,400. Perhaps this would help out Amerigy.
