Saab is in touch with its roots in aviation, so much so that the Swedish company's marketing dept. let loose the Saab Performance Team on a closed runway to practice its earthbound interpretation of aerial acrobatics. The five-man Saab Performance Team has been exhibiting all the exciting things you can do with a Saab and an empty parking lot for some time and clips of its antics are a favorite on video-hosting sites like YouTube. Our only criticism of the new video is that it's too short, though we hunted down its origin and found it on Saab's "Pilots Wanted" minisite that includes additional Saab Performance Team videos, as well as footage from Saab's Ice Experience that took place north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden.

In which market(s) is Saab's tagline "Move Your Mind?"

It's not terribly memorable, but it's certainly better than the "Born from Jets" we get here, which reeks of heritage-grubbing desperation.

Nice commercial, and I could see doing all that in a BMW but just don't see it happening in a GM car, even if it is one made overseas.

It's like the BMW films, except the cars are actually doing what is shown.
