When he isn't molding the minds of future motorists, you'll find him bombing local mountain roads, obsessing over the latest news in the automotive realm and posting regularly on his own blog DriveWire.us. He has been active in both state and national motorist organizations including the Advanced Drivers of America, the Driving School Association of California (DSAC) and has held the position of Editor-In-Chief for the DSAC's Road to Excellence newsletter. A consummate gearhead and self-proclaimed physics enthusiast, Damon seeks to bring the driver's perspective to the fore, something that he feels has been lacking in most traditional automotive media.
