Aussie-bred Elfin MS8 Streamliner gets price break before production

In order to ensure a successful launch of its classicly-styled MS8 Streamliner sports car, Australian automaker Elfin has joined forces with Walkinshaw Performance. Owned by that Tom Walkinshaw, Walkinshaw Performance will provide Elfin with production engineering and marketing expertise to make the 100-car production run for the Streamliner and its baby brother, the MS8 Clubman, a guaranteed success. As a result of Walkinshaw's expertise in produciton efficiencies, the suggested price of the MS8 Streamliner has dropped from AUS $135,000 to $119,475. Powered by a GM/Holden-sourced Gen III 5.7-liter V8 producing 329 horsepower, the MS8 Streamliner should be terrorizing Oz in no time.

Hey daniel, you realise the GTO is just a rebadged (and uglified) Monaro? A Holden, which is what this car is.
This also weighs 1000kg, GTO is probably around 1650kg I'd imagine. Extremely different cars. One is an ugly 2+2 GT, the other is a lightweight sports car.
