Honda Fit Comfort Edition hits Japan showrooms

On July 6, Honda introduced two new Fit special models: the Fit Comfort Edition, and Fit HDD Navi Comfort Edition.
Both cars get the following popular options included as standard equipment:

Power comes from a 1.3L 86 hp four cylinder connected to a CVT. Buyers can choose either 2WD and AWD for both Comfort Edition trim levels.
Prices range from ¥1,281,000 to ¥1,470,000 ( ~$10-12K USD) for the Fit Comfort Edition, and ¥1,491,000 to ¥1,680,000 (~$14 - 16K USD) for the HDD Navi Comfort edition.

They need to bring the awd model here... it only enhances the versatility of the Fit and makes it the perfect road trip/ski car.

2008 Honda Fit DisComfort Edition being phased out of Japan and shipped to FAT Americans.
Instead of Navi a microwave with 1 year supply of Hot Pockets.
GO HONDA!

What American need is the pimp edition with spinners on wheels.

Bring the rear disc brakes first, then bring better headlights, then better transmissions-where is the 6 speed manual, CVT-or at least a better selector on the base automatic D5, D3, 2, 1. Frigging junk, 3rd is too short for mountain driving, too much negative torque from the engine.
D5, D4, L

A six speed manual in a car that costs $13850? Get real.

If the Fit Comfort Edition really is only available with the CVT, I hope we DON'T get either model.
I do agree, that AWD would be an interesting choice, as would the 6 speed tranny. Not sure about Navi and BlurTooth capability, though.

Yes a six speed manual in a 13K car. Nissan's new 13 k Versa has a 6 speed standard.
