Yes, they're just commercials and therefore subject to all sorts of valid criticisms of manipulating the unwary and promoting an unreal worldview. Still, two new 30-second clips for the Peugeot 206 HDi and 307 HDi (the ads are currently available up on YouTube, the cars are available outside of the United States) are cute. They suggest that there is a Golden Rule that sheep and pigeons can't help but follow when Peugeots are involved. In the clips, the Peugeot vehicles get dirty and then, well, nature takes care of the cars. Peugeot has a history of fairly decent fuel economy and the first wheeled vehicles Peugeot sold were bicycles.
