Project Kahn offers a Facelift for the Audi A8
.jpg)
If the Audi A8's stock wheels do nothing for you, or if the ride height as delivered from the factory still makes you think of a pickup truck, Project Khan has the fix. The British/Italian tuner starts with its 21" RS-X wheels (9.5" wide in the front and 11" out back), and then fits the vehicle with its TUV-approved electronic lowering module to drop the big sedan by 1.5". Privacy tint is applied to the glass, and to top off the modifications, a bespoke exhaust system with twin bazooka-sized machined 90mm tips is installed. There's no word on what effect the changes have to the performance of Audi's flagship, but we think that the modifications achieve subtle but very pleasing visual results. We also can't speak to the pricing of the package, but you know what they say about having to ask...
There are a couple more shots of the black bullet posted after the jump.

"Khan!!!....... khan!!!..."
I'm not sure that supplying a big-bore exhaust, big chrome wheels, and tinted windows qualifies this organization as a "tuner." Maybe a "pimper."

Big pimpin spendin Gs, I got yo bitches down on they knees
If the "tuner" of this A8 Turd ever wants to sell this in the US, they are going to have to learn the above lingo.
Maybe this can become the next gotta have 'Sclade.

AGAIN with the modern curb feelers (big stupid wheels). If it's your style, fine, but such a way to ruin a good car.

And, another reason I don't like Audi's.
The took probably the blandest car design, and tried to make it look "sporty" or "thug" or whatever you want to call it.
Give me a Cadillac sedan over a German anyday.

If by subtle you mean "wheels that look way to big for the wheel wells" yes, I agree with you.
You should come on my side of town, there are a few specimens of (typically) '98 accord that suffer from the same syndrom.

Like people don't make Caddies gaudy. Escalade on Dubs BLING BLING!
I don't get this tuning package either, 21 inch wheels? Why?
I would take an MTM tuned S8 though.

If you like the way that looks, there's a good chance you're fourteen years old and own a skateboard.

#4 You'd take a Caddy over and Audi? Have you ever driven an Audi?
Like wow man, the comparison of cadillac and audi isn't fair for cadillac, audi is in a completely different and (better) league.
I've driven both, no comparison.

"Sorry, Luxury truck to me is an oxymoron..."
Well, we probably agree more than we disagree then. I do love Cadillac's current lineup, except for the Escalade. I just happen to be a true Audi fan.
Any great car can be made to look like a turd with the right wheels and body kit.

That car is so gaudy it looks like a photochop. A stock A8 would be just fine for me, thanks.

I love the stance and the size of the wheels but I cant imagine the wheels dont effect the handeling characteristics of the car. I would be much happier if the factory were to offer such a package that way u know u arnt adversly effecting the handeling and performance of your sweet ride.

You could do the lowering yourself with a VAG-COM...

Fugly wheels. Fuuugly.
And when will people realize that filling up the entire wheel well is neither attractive nor functional on real roads?

#10 Ryan...Where have you been the last couple years? EVERYONE has been saying the Five Hundred has VW/Audi styling cues.
The funny thing is, the man that used to design for VW/Audi is the same man that designed the Five Hundred...

Calling any butchery of a so-called prestige car "Project Khan" is almost as naff as the guy who created this. I've had the misfortune to meet him and the tastelessness of the cheap modifications (not tuning) he does is scarily appropriate.

I am not crazy about the rims, although if they gave me the car at cost i would drive it in a heartbeat....Dean

The only reason they had to lower the car in the 1st place is the oversized wheels. I've got a nice shiney Canadian quarter for anyone who can prove to me that the car doesn't ride at either the same height or higher than stock.
