Spy Shots: 2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Until now there's more in interest in what will be powering the next Ford F-350 Super Duty than what it will look like. It's already been announced the problematic 6.0L Powerstroke diesel will be replaced by a new twin-turbo 6.4L diesel motor that may utilize piezo injectors to help meet more stringent emissions standards that take effect next year.
From these spy photos it's clear that Ford is growing the F-350's front end substantially to accommodate the new powerplant. One shot in particular shows next year's redesigned model parked next to the current model, which makes evident a taller hood and lower bumper along with more pronounced front fenders. As always the grille grows even larger and the new flat front appears to have vertically stacked headlights, as well.

The source article is incorrect - the other truck in that photo is not the current model, it has the older (2004) grille/bumper/headlights.

I'm sure that the 6.4 will be just as much as a piece of junk as its predicessor, but it will run cleaner.

From these spy photos it's clear that Ford is growing the F-350's front end substantially to accommodate the new powerplant.........It is not clear at all. It appears that the disguise is thick vinyl material to make it difficult to see the changes. If you study the photo is seems that the new sheet metal wont be any larger than previous.

I heard a rumor that the next Ford diesel will be from Cummins rather than International, after the whole 6.0L fiasco. Anyone else hear this?
