Infiniti sales up 183 percent in UAE
Sales for Nissan's upscale Infiniti division in the United Arab Emirates skyrocketed in the first quarter, up 183 percent year-over year. Of course, total sales over the same period were just 552 units, but there's reason for optimism: sales have more than doubled each year for the past couple of years (the brand was re-launched in the region in 2004), and the advent of the new M in the marketplace is expected to continue the trend.

An interesting fact. I was speaking with a friend of mine at work, who is from Egypt. He told me the most popular brand of car for prestige is the Mercedes-Benz "E" class. Yes. And he said it costs $200 USD to rent such a car for a day (driver included of course). People really like Mercedes-Benz. Infinity is a really unknown brand. Personally, I never knew how good it is until I slipped behind a G35 a month ago. Oh God it was good.

infiniti QX is a crap money wasting machine. just take a test drive, u'll hate it.
i see many on the roads(i live in uae). i dont know y ppl buy them, maybe they are tired of buying land cruisers.

So, tariq, what Toyota dealer do you work for? The comments I am hearing about Infiniti vehicles are overwhelmingly positive - along the lines of Stoneman's comments. The M-class rocks!

Working for honda(my fav. japanese brand) would be preferred.

where should i goto in abu dhabi to buy an infiniti g35 sedan? i want the 2007 model and am prepared to wait till november-december 2006.
will service etc of the infiniti be good since they are not too popular in UAE?
