In what is not a surprise to most lux and exotic car lovers, the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT won the Robb Reports 'Best of the Best' sedan for the second time, a first for the publication. (The sedan first won in 2004.) The judges found the sedan "...a styling masterpiece ... the unpretentious Pininfarina shape will continue to turn heads when other sedans have become yesterday's styling fad. It is these concours-winning looks, underpinned by performance and fit and finish that are world-class, that make the Quattroporte Sport GT our favorite new sedan."
Other competitors included the Audi S8, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, BMW M5 and the Maybach 57S. Full details can be found in the magazine when it hits newstands on May 23rd.

This car is on my lottery list. It's certainly for people who got taste with their money.

Has a snout, when looked at from the side.
But, rich people are snooty.

Oh my, it's lovely, and looks like a design car from Buick!

It doesn't look bad in a photo, but I see these all the time around Bel Air and the proportions always seem off.

Haha...probiscus watch, very funny! This is more of a catfish bottom feeder look, really. There are no snouts piggier than the last gen Audi/VW piglets. The Suburaru Tribeca is trying to rout for truffles too. I love comparing them to this classic snout of snouts:

Check out what Top Gear says about the Maserati Quattroporte - and turn up your speakers! If that doesn't get your blood pumping, you aren't a car nut.

I'm never getting one, as long as a Ferrari Enzo is still in existance.

THE ROBB REPORT, huh? Now THERE'S an automotive authority! Someone quick...find out how much advertising Maserati/Ferrari bought in Robb Report this coming year! Or better yet, how many free trips and meals Maserati supplied the Robb Report folks with to help them make their decision...

Buick called, they want their portholes back.

As Steve said, Robb Report is on a lower automotive reporting plane than even Motor Trend. Probably a skosh higher than the syndicated huckster in your local Sunday paper, but just a skosh.
I do like the way they look on the road a lot better than the pics. But, they do have some angles from which they appear ungainly. Kinda like the 2nd gen
q-porte.
