The Fusion/Milan does ride on a longer Mazda 6 platform, it's a few inches longer, thus it has more interior space than the current Mazda 6. Mazda 6 has 96.1 cubic feet, relatively the same size as the 1998 to 2002 Honda Accord. The Fusion/Milan has over 101 cubic feet, about the same size as the current Honda Accord and previous generation of Toyota Camery, 2002 to 2006. Mazda tends to design its cars based on Japanese and European specifications and preferences, meaning smaller and sportier. Just like Honda launched two versions of the Accord, one for the North American market which is bigger and taller than the European version, however the European Acura is rebadged as an Acura TSX in the United States. When redesigned 2008 Mazda 6 launches, it will probably be the same size as the Fusion/Milan.

Shawn704

Comments on

"Wow iQuack, with deep insightful comments like yours, it's no wonder why Auto-Exec's are clamoring to get your perspective and keen insight into running an automotive corporation."

------------------------
Thanks!
