Ascari KZ1 gets big break in film

A public vote held by the British auto rag CAR has landed the Ascari KZ1 supercar the leading role in an upcoming Hollywood remake of The Persuaders, originally a British TV series from the early Seventies that starred Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. The KZ1 beat choices from Lamborghini, Ferrari and even Aston Martin, which just rolled out its new Bond car last week, the DBS. Filming for The Persuaders won't start until 2007 with Ben Stiller, Hugh Grant and George Clooney being tossed around as possible co-stars for the KZ1.

but it lack the X factor, something outrageous about it, something that would make it memorable. It seems on the outside very ordinary. If you know how french Peugeots look like, you'll agree that it looks like 307 or 207, anf that's not good for a supercar

I see what you're saying, but sometimes the beauty of something is within it's simplicity.

#2 - J Clarkson said the exact same thing when he drove it on Top Gear.
As for the rest of the post - are we surprised the British picked a British car? Not so much.

It could do with some cooler wheels though, these ones don't look like they've been designed specifically for this car, but rather a bit aftermarket-ish.
Good examples are the lambo's and koenigseg *didn't feel like looking up the spelling on that one*
