Hoo boy, things are just starting to get interesting... According to Automotive News, the UAW has given its 24,000 members/Delphi workers the go-ahead to strike if the federal bankruptcy court terminates Delphi's contracts with its unions as Delphi petitioned it to do in a filing earlier this week.

The strike could be devastating for General Motors, which is doing its best to help out by offering hundreds of thousands of buyouts.

The local UAW heads have until May 14 to conduct the vote.
