Sister-site Engadget has been following rumors of a live video streaming service to be offered by Sirius for over a year, but recently suits at the company admitted that the service would provide live streaming video, not content that’s been cached to ease the burden of transmission. The execs also revealed a tentative release date for the service as “post-CES 2007”. Since the Consumer Electronics Show occurs in January, this means the company is being as noncommittal as possible giving itself the rest of the year to rollout the technology.
