The politics of automobiles in World War I and today
Sometimes it’s hard to frame the discussion of automobiles and their effect on our world, politics and the environment. So, for this entry I will keep my words to minimum and let the images of this poster and this bumper sticker speak for themselves. The poster is something I found on the Library of Congress website and is dated to 1915. It was published in London by the National War Savings Committee. I came across the bumper sticker while searching Flickr photos for images tagged as biodiesel yesterday. Please feel free to post your thoughts and feelings in the comments section below, but it doesn’t hurt to keep the conversation civil.
