Skip the Starbucks-- Nespresso unveils in-car joe-to-go
Aside from the next-gen Camaro, this is a concept some of us want to see in production as soon
as possible.
Sibling blog Luxist has reported on the Nespresso
InCar coffee machine concept. The portable device creates hot coffee using coffee capsules provided by Nespresso.
The concept was one of several entries at the Milan furniture fair Salone del Mobile. The winner was another
Nespresso, the 'Nespresso card' which carries with it the holder's coffee preferences. Personally, we'd just dogtag
that info and get the coffee machine that won second place.
Java-obsessed Autoblog readers may also recall that Audi's Roadjet
concept that premiered in Detroit back in January featured an in-car espresso station.

The portable device creates hot coffee using coffee capsules provided by Nespresso- nice concept. I wonder why car companies did not forward with it much earlier. It will surely get a lot of fans and at the same time the users will enjoy it.

Great, just what we need, one more thing to distract drivers that are already trying to talk on the phone, program the SAT-NAV, change radio stations, watch DVD's, and, oh... maybe look at the road from time to time. Of course this will be "for passenger use only". Yeah, right.
I'll be the first with the "Just quit making coffee and drive" bumper sticker.

The first time I see some jackass on the road using this things I'm putting him in a ditch. These distractions from driving have got to stop. People can't keep from crashing cars when they aren't distracted.
CARS ARE MADE FOR DRIVING NOT MAKING COFFEE, DOING YOUR MAKEUP, READING THE PAPER, OR TALKING ON THE PHONE!
