I've heard rumors of Ford producing a new BOSS Mustang in the next year or so but I doubt they could top the effort Saleen put into this. I don't think are too many special editions. Each one is pretty unique in looks and performance. I really like the Roush Stage III in black. Most of these special models are recreated from past models. Remember the previous gen Mustangs had multiple special editions.

Re #6 Spoken like a true commuter. Maybe you don't "need" a $50k Mustang but there are plenty of ppl out there that do.

Re #1 Ford had the balls to build a 475hp Mustang though.
