The local dealer sponsers a few street fairs by the University I go to and as such I have been able to really look at the 2006 offerings with out being bothered by a salesman(woman), and bet of all with out being lock out of the car b/c nobody is around.

I like the 2006 G35 sedan and I like the fact that it is a RWD system and not just an up badged Nissan. I also like the how Infiniti has been able to distance it self from the Nissan global design center... have you seen the "all new" Maxima??? I remember a time (now I feel older than I should) when you could tell the difference from a Maxima and an Altima from the street; if it werent for the clear lense "euro" tail lights I still would not be able to tell.

I am sure this not nessarly all new but very nice evlotion of the G35 will do well among repeate buyers. I just hope Infiniti has updated the suspension enough so it does not ride like a 350Z. If they have, or unless the car I drove was just a POS from the factory and a fluke, then the new G35 will also be able to sway many new customers as well.

talis

Comments on

looks sick...im loving it more than ever.

Jabbar

Comments on

Woah, looks like I'll be buying that instead of a new Lexus IS, finally it has the looks that I've been waiting for. I am glad the company realized perhaps its largest shortcoming in its previous G35 model. The quality of material has improved substatially and (thank god!) they changed this toy-looking steering wheel, that uninpressive gauge illumination (I love its current crisp and bright illumination now) and that oddly placed navigation system. But still compared to the infiniti G35-2007 concept this needs some additional refinement.

leo

Comments on

for #9... question if nissan is woried about g35 eating gtr sales... no.. theya re both way different category cars. where as the infiniti is luxury sports car, the other one willm ainly focus on sports.. performance.. and yes some luxury. but its going to be mroe hardcore than the g35

Jomil

Comments on

That Altima is DOPE!

Presto

Comments on

I notice there is a compact flash slot below the right temp control.

Jon Miller

Comments on

They already showed the coupe.

The interior is much more of an improvement than the exterior.

The mechanical changes are promising.
