UK green cab service expands Prius coverage
Even using hybrids is not enough for greentomatocars, since even hybrids release CO2. The firm also plants trees and engages in other "eco-projects" to minimize its vehicles' impact on the environment. And while the service has considered all-electric vehicles, they are currently not viable according to founder Tom Pakenham.

The Toyota Aztek or I mean Prius is so ugly from every angle how do they sell those things? It would have to get 200MPG before I'd drive one. What will one of those be worth in a few years when they have a few miles on that Hybrid system? No thanks I'll stay away from those things let the UK cabbies have them.

Re MJ,
I would have to disagree with you. I think the Prius is the only reasonably good looking vehicle (car or truck) currently sold in the U.S. by Toyota. If I had to buy a new Toyota (and thank God, I don't), the Prius would be my choice even if it got slightly less miles to a gallon of gas than a Camry or Avalon.

I miss the Supra. Toyota's last attractive car. The Prius is only slightly better looking than the Aztek, but definitely smuggier (thanks South Park).
