Noble announced new M15 supercar

As one who has ridden shotgun in a Noble M12 around Mid-Ohio Raceway, I can tell you this brand knows how to bake white-knuckle, on-the-edge driving dynamics into every car it produces. According to Top Gear, the new Noble M15 that just debuted across the pond will take Noble’s recipe for fun to a new level. Featuring the same twin-turbo, 3.0L V6 producing 455 bhp that debuted in the M14 concept last year, the M15 might be crowned Britain’s baddest supercar. The engine is now mounted longitudinally and hooked up to a brand new gearbox packing six speeds for lunch.
Pricing of the new M15 is set at £75,000 ($130,000 USD). Will we see the M15 in the States? There’s no official word either way, but the current Noble M12 GTO-3R and M400 are imported into the U.S. less an engine and transaxle by 1G Racing, so there’s hope we’ll see the M15 here, as well.

The front looks like an eighties BMW. The side is mixture Audi TT and Bentley Continental GT. The wheels are sharp - I like 'em.

This car is supposed to be Noble's Aston Martin killer. I seriously doubt that they will offer it as a kit car, the current configuration that it has to be had, in order to import it. So importing them doesn't look like it will happen. Sorry, but I can understand that kit cars and 130,000 bucks don't really mix. This one is REALLY upscale compared to their other driving oriented, almost lotus like sportscars.

This first look is superb - classy lines, aggressive styling. A+... Now, let's go for a spin!

It looks like a perfect cross between a Ferarri and an Aston Martin. I like it.

While there are a gazillion so-called kit cars on the market, Noble is the only one I know of that builds really high quality cars that perform equal to or better than the best production cars.
If you haven't taken a "test drive" in a Noble, check with 1G and they will tell you where they will be throughout the summer. I saw them at Road America a year or so ago when they came for the BRIC vintage race event with a couple of M12s. All I can say is WOWWWW!
While the styling of the M12 is excellent and the fit and finish are marvelous, I can't wait to see (and sit in) the M15. It's a wonderfully derivative design (in the same vein as the M12, but more 21st century) that has styling cues from every hi-buck car that I like.
For anyone who wants to really scare themselves in a much, much cheaper car, I'd recommend the Beck Spyder (clone of a Porsche 550 Spyder). I used to own one and it was very much like driving a well-prepared vintage racecar on the street -- lots of power, somewhat crude suspension, skinny tires, massive oversteer, yee ha! It is bulletproof, well engineered and has a level of fit & finish similar to the Noble. What more can you ask for about $20,000? But if you've got the extra $100,000+, wait for the M15.

I'm glad to say there's an increasing number of Nobles being driven around, sales are really starting to pick up and I think the M15 will appeal to a broader market than whats currently available.
Whats going to be tough though for Noble is if Lotus release the concept Esprit, I know a lot can get diluted from concept to productionised reality but it really is amazing, and the Noble at 75,000 will no doubt be pitching right at it. Competing with Lotus in the market they're historically famous for is going to be very hard, I just hope it won't mean Noble disappears like so many small sports car companies do. Hopefully the market for people who actually drive their cars rather than just pose in them can sustain what will be two small, highly talented car companies.

This car looks like NOTHING from the 80's, show me a picture in a link to prove this point? It is totally radical and 21st century styling cue HOT.
What really gets me, is this is an Autoblog with lots of car enthusiasts, right? There are 9 comments about this supercar, awesomely da bomb! SHould have triggered total white knuckle, red eye syndrome in any real auto driver. Instead, the posting on the friggn econobox, the Fit has 53 comments. Well, that's at least 50 "fake" car lovers, if you ask me!
This is a car to write about.
