Rally cars light up South African forest-- literally

Rally racing is hot stuff. Nowhere is that more true this weekend than in Cape Town, South Africa, where firefighters are working to contain a forest blaze started by an errant racer. The fire is believed to have started when the all-female team of Lola and Megan Verlaque's Subaru left the road in a 'national championship rally,' the engine's heat setting the brush alight.

The race is to continue tomorrow, but it isn't clear whether the rally will continue to use the Cape's Franschoek forests in later stages.
