3-Series sales boost BMW in February, MINI bottleneck lowers deliveries
Sales of BMW's 3-Series helped increase deliveries overall for the BMW Group in February by 13.8-percent to a
total of 94,751 vehicles, but the retooling of MINI's plant in Oxford, England cost BMW a loss of about
10-percent in MINI deliveries.
Deliveries of the BMW brand itself went up 18.5-percent thanks to a 53.5=percent increase in 3-Series units, helping the BMW Group solidify its position as a leading supplier of premium automobiles.

Congratulations, BMW.
A 2007 3-Series is on my radar for purchase by the end of this year. The car is hot...the bangleization works with this one...whereas the 5 and 7 Series miss the mark somewhat.
Toyota is not the only juggernaut that GM and Ford need to worry about. BMW just gets stronger and stronger. I cannot believe how many I see on the road. The new 5-Series definitely seems to be a hit.

Just a note: Bangle didn't design the new 3 (that was handled by Joji Nagashima), and he was promoted from head designer years ago.
